ATAS is an independent studio working on web design and development. Every project is handled end to end by one person — no agency middleman, no work passed to subcontractors.
A website's job isn't to look good; it's to work. A visitor shouldn't wait for the page to load, should find what they came for in two clicks, and should understand what to do next. So I start every project with three questions: Who is coming? What are they looking for? What do we want them to do?
I don't use templates. Buying a ready-made theme and changing its colours is quick, but the result always looks vaguely familiar and carries needless code that slows it down. Instead I write each site for what it needs; if something is on the page, it has a job.
I won't say yes to something I can't deliver. If Shopify is the better fit for your project, I won't try to sell you WooCommerce.
A slow site loses visitors and slips down the rankings. Performance isn't an optimisation added later — it's a decision made at the start.
Files, domain, content — all handed over to you. You're never locked into working with me.
I don't hide behind jargon. I'll explain what I'm doing, why, and how long it will take, in plain language.
Working in these areas means knowing what a visitor from that sector looks for. If your business isn't on the list that's no obstacle — our discovery call just takes a little longer.
Turning some work down is what lets me do the work I accept properly. I don't take on:
It depends on the project: modern JavaScript frameworks or WordPress for corporate and personal sites, Shopify or WooCommerce for e-commerce. The tool is chosen for what the job needs, not out of habit.
Tell me your idea and we'll work out together what the site should be.
